Pars Oil and Gas Company
Completed and in Operation
The South Pars Gas Field Development project phase 15 & 16, integrated into the overall development plan of the South Pars gas field, has been located about 130 Km from reservoir. This project has been planned to treat 2000 MMSCFD reservoir fluid, coming from offshore to mainland via pipeline, 1000 MMSCFD each phase.
The facilities are developed on the basis of supplying treated lean gas to the domestic gas network and ethane gas to the nearby petrochemical complex at the required specifications while maximizing liquid recovery as C3 / C4 LPG and stabilized hydrocarbon condensate for export.
The produced lean gas is transported to domestic gas distribution network through a new interconnecting pipeline via fiscal metering facilities.
The produced condensate is stored in dedicated storage facilities, periodically pumped through a 36” condensate export pipeline to a SBM via fiscal metering facilities.
The treated C3 and C4 LPG is stored separately in the refrigerated atmospheric double wall cryogenic tanks, periodically pumped through a dedicated loading pipelines network to LPG carriers berthed at a jetty via fiscal metering facilities
